How to Add/Remove Tags in VXT
Tags in Samsung VXT are a powerful organisational tool that helps streamline the management of screens, content and playlists.
They allow for categorisation and filtering of items, making it easier to apply conditions or locate specific elements within the digital signage network.
1. Access the Tags Screen
To manage tags, click on the profile picture (top right), select Settings and then choose Tag. Here, tag sets and a list of workspaces using them are visible.
To configure or view details, select a tag group, which will open its settings and provide access to the full list of associated labels.
2. How to Add a Tag in VXT
- Start by creating a category. Click Add Category and give it a name.
- Once the category is created, click the plus sign (+) to add a tag and name it.
It is possible to create as many categories and tags as needed, but using clear and consistent naming conventions is recommended to avoid confusion.
Pro tip: Category and tag colours can be changed by clicking on the 3 lines button next to the category name.
3. How to Delete a Tag or Category
To delete a category, click the X button.
To delete tags, click the Bin Icon and select the tags for removal.
