From here, there are a few available options.

Option 1: Upload Files from Your Computer

  • Supported Formats:
    • Images: JPEG, PNG, BMP
    • Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI
    • Documents: PDF, Word
  • Click Add Content and use the file browser to find the desired file on the computer.
  • Drag and drop the file into the upload area.

Option 2: Add Advertisement Content

When uploading advertisements, make sure the publisher and ad information are registered with Samsung’s Advertisement Server.

  • Fill in the required fields: Publisher Info and Ad Info.
  • For unregistered advertisements, contact Samsung’s support team to complete this process.

Option 3: Add Web Content

Samsung VXT supports web-based content in two ways:

Web Package (HTML)

  • Upload a compressed ZIP file that contains an HTML file along with any supporting resources (CSS, JavaScript, images).
  • After uploading, set the Start Page (e.g. index.html) in the content settings.

Web URL

  • Enter the URL of the desired webpage (e.g., a live dashboard or a hosted webpage) in the designated field.
  • Test the URL to ensure it loads correctly before assigning it to a screen.

3. Customise (Optional)

When using Web Content in the Samsung VXT Content Management System, tag aliases can be added to make URLs dynamic:

  • Click the Add Tag Alias icon in the URL or Start Page field.
  • Choose a tag category (e.g., location, screen ID) to generate variable-based URLs automatically.

Click the Add Tag Alias

4. Save and Assign the Content

After adding the content, click Save to confirm the changes.

Assign the content to specific screens or groups:

  • Select the screens where the content is to be displayed.
  • Set a schedule, such as Play Now for immediate deployment or Scheduled to define specific times and dates.

5. Verify and Deploy

  1. Preview the content on the assigned screens to ensure everything is working as expected.
  2. If adjustments are needed, return to the Content section to edit and reassign.
