Content Menu Explained
The Content Menu is the central hub for managing all your digital signage content in Samsung VXT. It is designed to be simple to navigate and gives full control over the uploaded and pre-built media. Here is a breakdown of its key features and functionality.
Once the content is uploaded, it will appear in the Content Menu, making it easy to track and manage. Below are the main features available in this menu:
1. Create New Content
Clicking this option opens the VXT Canvas, a powerful visual builder similar to tools like Canva.
With VXT Canvas, users can start with a blank canvas, add and customise elements like images, text, shapes and more. The layout, branding and style can be fully tailored to fit specific needs.
2. Add New Pre-Built Content
Quickly integrate pre-designed templates or media from the library.
Use this option to upload new media files, such as images, videos and documents.
Supported formats include common file types like MP4, JPEG, PNG, PDF and others.
Ideal for campaigns requiring standardised layouts or branding.
3. Filter Content by Date
Organise content by the date it was uploaded or modified.
This feature makes it easy to find recent uploads or revisit older items.
4. Change the View (Grid or List)
Toggle between Grid View for a visual overview of your content and List View for detailed information like file names, upload dates and sizes.
5. Search Content by Name
Use the search bar to locate specific content items quickly.

When selecting a content item in the Content Menu, users can:
- Add Existing Tags to organise content.
- Delete It if no longer needed.
- Add It to a Playlist for scheduling.
- Duplicate It to create a copy for editing.
- Share It with collaborators.
- Copy It to a Different Workspace to use across teams or locations.
These actions make content management quick and efficient.
