How to Create a Schedule in VXT?

Creating and managing schedules in Samsung VXT allows for controlling when and where your content is displayed across your digital signage network. Here is a step-by-step guide to creating a new schedule:

1. Access the Schedule Creation Menu

Begin by selecting the New Schedule option to open the schedule creation interface.

2. Navigate the Schedule Interface

Current Date: To jump to today's date, click the Today button located at the top right corner.
Display Modes: Choose your preferred schedule view:
- Month View: Displays schedules in a calendar format.
- Week View: Shows schedules in a timetable format.
- List View: Presents schedules in a list format.

3. Add Content to the Schedule

In the Add Content window, click the + button to open the content selection panel.

Choose the desired content or playlist; multiple selections are allowed.

Set the repetition count to determine how many times the content should be played.

Specify the playback date and time to schedule when the content will be displayed.

After configuring these settings, click OK to finalise.

4. Save the Schedule

Click Save to store your newly created schedule.

5. Assign the Schedule to Screens

Click the Set to Screens button to open a list of available screens.

For schedules containing general content or playlists, select the desired screens and click Publish to deploy the schedule.

For schedules that include synced playlists, ensure that only images and videos are used, and select screens designated as Screen Wall types.

After selecting the appropriate screens, click Publish to apply the schedule.
