How to Use Remote Control in VXT

The Remote Control feature in Samsung VXT enables remote management of Samsung device screens.

The option is available only with the P Series or RM Series plans.

1. Navigate to Screens and click on one of the devices

2. Click the “Play” button

This will reveal the remote control options.

1. STOP - It is important to press the “Stop” button to end the remote control process before switching to another screen.

2. ON/OFF - Turns the screen on and off. Holding one of these buttons will reboot the device.

2.1. HOME - Opens the device's Home screen.

2.2. MENU - Access and configure various screen settings and features.

2.3. SOURCE - Choose an external device connected to the screen.

2.4. INFO - Display detailed information about the screen.

3. VOLUME CONTROLS - Up, down and mute.

4. DIRECTIONS - Move and select menu items. 

4.1. CONFIRM and BACK buttons.

3. Edit Settings

On the right-hand side of the menu, various General and Security options appear.

Here is the revised version:

The General Options enable:

• Turning off the screen after a set idle time.
• Enabling or disabling remote configuration.
• Installation of software updates.

The Security Options enable:

• Changing the PIN.
• Disabling Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi or network connectivity.
• Locking the remote controller and panel buttons on the device for added security.
