What are Screen Presets and How to Create Them?
Screen Presets in Samsung VXT allow for setting up screen settings in advance for an organisation. When a screen is added to a workspace, it automatically uses these settings, saving time and effort.
Note: This functionality is available with the P Series pricing plan.
1. Screen Profile
To create a screen profile, navigate to Settings > Screen Preset, then select New Profile.
Choose the appropriate screen type and configure settings accordingly.
Settings Categories:
- General Settings: Adjust basic screen parameters such as Auto Power Off, Screen Orientation, and Remote Configuration.
- Security Settings: Manage security features including Bluetooth Lock, USB Lock, Wi-Fi Lock, Network Lock, Remote Controller Lock, Panel Button Lock, and Change PIN.
- Energy Management: Set up energy-related options like On Timer, Off Timer, Holiday schedules and Brightness level.
2. Certificate
Certificate Management in Samsung VXT allows you to securely connect your screens to networks or systems (e.g., Wi-Fi or Property Management Systems) using verified certificates. This feature ensures only authorised connections are established, enhancing security and reliability.
To access Certificate Management, navigate to Settings > Screen Preset > Certificate to open the certificate management menu.
Click New Certificate and upload the certificate file provided by your system or network administrator.
After adding a certificate, you can review key details, including:
- Date Added: The date the certificate was uploaded.
- Date Updated: The most recent modification date.
- Associated Workspaces: The workspaces using this certificate.
